Insurance information

All natural and legal persons providing employment must register the employment data of their employees (commencement, suspension and termination of employment) in the employment register of the Tax and Customs Board. From there, the data entered by the employers is transferred to the Health Insurance Fund. Insurance data is transferred to the EHIF database once a day.

Under the service of the state portal eesti.ee "Employees' health insurance data in the Health Insurance Fund", the employer can view the list of its insured persons.

For companies and self-employed persons

Legal persons and self-employed persons registered in the commercial register can view the lists of health insured employees under the state portal service "Employees' health insurance data in the Health Insurance Fund". You can log into the state portal by using your ID card, Mobile ID or a bank link. To view the data, select your company’s role after you have logged in.

A person entered on the company's registry card (member of the management board, exclusive representative) is automatically granted the right of the company's administrator when logging into the state portal, which enables them to use all services.
If the administrator wants to grant another employee the right to use the service, they can do that in the state portal.

For state and local government agencies

Under the service of the state portal eesti.ee "Employees' health insurance data in the Health Insurance Fund", the employer can view the list of persons insured by the agency.
You can log into the state portal by using your ID card, Mobile ID or a bank link. To view the data, select your agency’s role after you log in. State and local government agencies need to appoint an administrator via the state portal helpdesk, if this has not been done before or if they want to change the administrator.

The application for the appointment of an administrator (in .doc or .odt format) must be signed by the signatory/signatories. You can sent the digitally signed application to help [at] ria.ee or by mail: State Information System Board, Pärnu maantee 139a, Tallinn 15169.
The administrator of the agency can immediately use all the services of the state portal. If the administrator wants to grant another employee the right to use the service, they can do that in the state portal.
